Unlike standard mineral sunscreens that often leave a white cast, LATHER's mineral SPF 45 natural sunscreen delivers impeccable protection without any chalky remnants. Our 100% mineral zinc-based formula ensures high-potency SPF 45 broad-spectrum protection, offering you daily defense against harmful UV rays. Daily Defense is water resistant up to 80 minutes, so skin will be protected even if sweating or swimming. Enriched with antioxidant green tea, olive leaf, and turmeric extracts, it shields your skin from free radicals while nourishing and replenishing moisture with olive squalane. Daily Defense is a coral reef safe sunscreen with non-nano sized zinc oxide shown to be the safest option for marine life.

We love: the sheer tint, derived from natural pigments, which effortlessly blends and layers beautifully under makeup.

No parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, artificial colors, or mineral oils. Vegan. Never tested on animals.

Use daily on face and neck as the last step in your skin care routine, before applying makeup. Any serums or moisturizers should be applied before the sunscreen.

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.

How to Use

Pour a dime-sized amount of liquid cleanser into your palms and massage onto damp skin, using circular motions. Splash with water, then rinse thoroughly to remove makeup, oil, and debris.

After cleansing, saturate a cotton pad or mist toner directly onto skin. Sweep gently across your face, letting the lightweight formula sink in.

Gently apply a small amount of serum into your face and neck, letting the nourishing formula sink in. Allow the serum to fully absorb, then follow with moisturizer for lasting hydration.

Use your ring finger to tap a small amount of eye cream around the orbital bone, starting from the inner corners and moving outward.

Apply a generous layer of SPF, like Daily Defense Mineral SPF 45 Facial Sunscreen, as the final step in your morning ritual. Smooth about half a teaspoon evenly over face and neck, about 15 minutes before sun exposure.

    Love this amazing sunscreen!

    What an amazing product! Glides on easily and leaves a matte finish that is wearable alone or with a touch of makeup! This sebum friendly product is great for summertime! Like the shine that most sunscreens leave or a heavy residue, this one does not! Leaves no color behind despite the light tint. No breakouts or shine. Love, love, love it!

    Great tinted Alf moisturizer

    I love this cream, I love that it’s has spf and is tinted. My only star left off is for the bottle. Sometime too much comes out if you’re not careful and I feel when it’s empty there now at to scrape it out and get leftovers. I’m not sure what left in the bottle after it stops pumping lotion out. Overall love this products and will buy forever.

    Looks so natural

    I wear this on most days instead of foundation, the tint is enough color to smooth out my skin and give it evenness all over. I also use it daily in the summer as well since I don’t go out without some form on sunscreen on and this is my go-to. I love it! Wore it in Greece for 10 days and never burned on my face.

    Drying Sunscreen Product

    Lather used to formulate a chemical sunscreen product, that was effective and wonderful on the complexion. However, that product has long been discontinued. This sunscreen product is well packaged, but contains too much zinc oxide, leaving the skin feeling heavy and dry.
